Budget and Scheduling
The Klinkam Company works with the owner and the architect, contractor, and engineering consultants to develop a
mutually agreeable project budget and schedule. Our project planning strategy includes key elements
that ensure your project remains fully coordinated with your budget and timeline throughout construction.
- Manage project team members to complete design milestones on schedule. These milestones include
permit documents, bid documents, and final construction documents.
- Ensure that appropriate owner and team review of design drawings/specifications occurs to achieve
conformity with program requirements.
- Assess value engineering suggestions from contractor, owner, and other consultants.
- Refine and update project budget and schedule as project proceeds through design phases.
- Provide and monitor regular project cost reports during construction to measure actual performance against budget.
- Work with contractor, monitoring contractor's construction schedule. Require and review regular schedule updates
from the contractor.
